My thoughts on WGM
I’ll admit, i wasn’t happy when i first heard about it and decided to be funny with my semi-emotional reaction. But now that I think about it, this is how I feel about this whole thing:
I want to first point out, I’m not against Taecyeon or any member being paired up with a girl. And for the most part, I don’t have a problem with all shippers. Many, like myself, do not like WGM because of that one group of shippers that take things too far. Which is why many were against the idea.
However, it seems likely that it is going to happen now. At this point, we should just accept it. From what I heard, the Global version of WGM just lasts maybe a few episodes, no where near as long as the regular version. So, it’s not that big of a deal.
Plus, it’s helping put Taec and 2pm more into the spotlight before their comeback.
I guess i’m annoyed at some fans, making this a big deal. I know most don’t like WGM, but this isn’t a death sentence (granted nothing scandalous happens during this time to either side). Netizens will complain as usual, we’ll forget it, it’ll be done.
Remember this though, Taecyeon does get a say in this decision as well, so cussing out JYP ain’t going to do you all any good for many reasons.
Watch it if you want to, or ignore it until the episodes are over.
